As much as I wish it were true....I know for a fact that:

Your book will not write itself. Your business will not grow itself. Your tough conversations will not work themselves out, and most of all, your dreams can’t come to life without you doing the (necessary, oftentimes hard) work to greet them. ✨

So here I am on the nicest day of the year to date☀️, the lake sparkling at me in the tantalizing way she does + the soft breeze whispering to me tucked away in my office.
.
The babe is at school for 2 more hours and this book has waited 37 years to come out in to the world, so away we go! 🙌🏻🔥✨
.

I used to feel self-conscious about the fact that I didn’t choose to live in a big city or in a place where there are tons of influencers + industry leaders.
.
I used to feel guilty about the fact that I couldn’t make it to all of the big live events or hop on a plane at a moment’s notice.
.
I used to worry that these things made me, not only different, but irrelevant.
.
I told myself stories that I would never be able to grow my business or be invited to speak on stages or sell-out my own live events living in a place like New Hampshire.
.
I used to think these things until, one day, I asked myself, “If you could trade places with anyone else on the planet, who would it be?”
.
My answer? ➡️ “No one.”
.
I love this life of ours and the choices we’ve made to create our home in the woods 🌲 on a lake here in New England is a lifetime of dreams coming true.✨
.
I’ve chosen a life that fully supports me + my own sacred needs. I’ve created a business that continues to make a massive impact, while also honoring my core values and the people I love the most.
.
And as for those live events? We’ve sold it out for the last 3 years in a row...
.
Turns out the NH Seacoast is the hidden gem 💎 people from all over love to come + explore while also igniting their souls!! 🔥
.
I hope this message serves as an affirmation that you can create your dream wherever your heart leads you.
.
We live in a time-space reality that is set up for our success on so many levels + the world is craving our unique versions of that success, not a cookie cutter copy of someone else’s🍪👏
.

There’s a hard truth about GROWTH that most people don’t talk about.
.
When you stretch beyond the safety net of where you came from, the stories of “because this is how things are” + the package-deal expectations (or “premeditated resentments” as @karenkenneylive says) that often go with them...the road can get pretty bumpy.
.
The faces + spaces we once felt welcomed by suddenly feel like they don’t fit. And then the heartbeat we’ve danced with for so long has a different sound and syncing up with the old way of being no longer works.
.
The more we decide to stand FULLY in our light, our mission + our deepest purpose, the more we will be challenged, questioned + tested.
.
It’s a clarifying moment when we realize that we cannot be bold in our soul work + go unnoticed.
.
But here’s the thing: We were not born to fit in or to give parts of ourselves away in order to perpetuate a way of living, thinking + being that is ready for evolution.
.
If you are being met with resistance on your path...if you are feeling weary...turn your face to the light, sweet sister.✨
.
Put your sacred hands on your chest + listen to the sound of your own breath + come back home.✨
.
Remember who you are, who you’ve always been.
.
Give thanks for the opportunity to claim your truth in newer + deeper ways than ever before.
.
Trust that you are being guided to better views + deeper connections when love serves as your compass.
.
Most of all, never stop growing...the world needs your shine. ❤️

That moment when you know like you know like you know you’re on the right path...✨

When you’re fully trusting, embodying + dancing with the truth of yourself + fully enjoying your chance to be here...it feels like winning the jackpot of life.💰

I am leaving Vegas tomorrow morning before the sun to get home for our girl’s first-ever dance recital.
.
GTC starts tonight and I’m missing 2 full days of trainings + celebrating with our gorgeous team...but when the date for our girl’s recital came out, there was no hesitation, no questioning, no wavering...mama would be there.
.
Anddddd...mama would be in the front row with @celinedion 2 days before that celebrating life + business + friendship with @rachelcamfield.👯‍♀️
.
Hear this: the path isn’t always easy, but it’s simple + knowing who you are and what matters most to you keeps it that way.
.
When I look in my own eyes, I trust her and the heartbeat that reflects back to me.
.
I trust this dance we’ve done together these 37 years + what she has choosen...because I know that the mission of my life is to be fully present for my own evolution...❤️
.
The mission of my life is to feel and connect and express and LOVE as deeply as humanly possible.
.
The things I get to do, the places I get to visit, the experiences I create are the ways in which I do this sacred work.
.
All this is to say...trust yourself, dear one.

Listen to the beat of that beautiful heart that has never failed you.💜

Can I make a lil confession?? 🤐

I’m not the best at receiving...
.
As a first born, take care of erry body + their sister kinda gal, I often put off treating myself in a painfully obvious way.
.
I am obsessed with giving + gifting + orchestrating magic for others...and while this is magical, it’s also slightly problematic....
.
HERE’S WHY:
.
Giving is great!! Except when we live oriented to give + (over)protect + give some more...we shut ourselves off from F U L L Y receiving the blessings + goodies the Universe is constantly trying to surprise us with.🤲🏻
.
When we do this, we are actually vibrating on a level of mega-scarcity. 🤦🏼‍♀️
.
Which leads us to perpetuating a pattern of scarcity and the belief that getting what we desire is hard and reserved only for the “lucky” ones🎲.
.
On this trip to Vegas, I have made a solemn vow to TREAT my sweet self. Not for all the hard work she’s done, not because she “deserves it,” but because receiving is a direct pathway + portal to welcoming in MORE of the good stuff....(and because it’s way more FUN!)
.
If you want more abundance, decide to FEEL abundant rightthisminute. 💃🏼
.
If you want to receive more, actually do it - let people treat you, serve you, support you with their gifts...sit down + take off the hero cape for a hot second, Mama...give others the gift of celebrating you. 🎉🎁💕
