real-time truths

Everything's a mess...

My house.

Outside  - we live in New England and had a snow storm that knocked out the power and tons of trees last week.

My routines - kids + home school + snow storms + lifeeeee.

My ability to maintain the laundry list of "to dos" I seem to have inherited from generations unknown.

And yet...I've never been more strangely at ease.

My business has never performed at a more meaningful & profitable pace.

My daughter and I were out for a walk the other day and she asked me if I ever think about the future.

My answer surprised me...

"I used to think about the future all the time, to the point of being obsessed with it.
But now, I don't want to be anywhere but right here with you guys, living these days for as long as I possibly can.

I suppose you could say I'm in the season of squeezing the juice out of what's here....AND....

Navigating the complexity of the and/both that comes with it, like:

+ Unexpected bills.

+ New program ideas I don't think have the energy to create right now.

+ Pop-up sinus infections.

+ Design joy for our new Tree Haus space.

+ 60-degree days in the midst of what has felt like an eternal winter.

+ The forsythia buds popping up and the loon returning to the pond.

There's realignment and integration here - as spring requires.

I'm savoring the simplest things and reveling in the richness that's right here...and leaving the rest.

Over to you...

  • What are you thinking about these days?

  • What is feeling more relevant than ever?

  • How could you weave even more of that into your business?

  • Your model?

  • Your way of creating & connecting with your people?

Here's to centering what feels simple and sacred for the season we're in.

Happy Eclipse, love...

xo
